About Kay

I was born in Las Vegas, NV, where my dad was stationed at Nellis Air Force Base. Him being a disc jockey on top of that helped influence my love for music.

I’m a big Eagles fan, but soccer is my first love (Go Man U!!). I grew up playing when I lived in England for a few years. I ran track at Virginia State University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in marketing. In between caring for my sister and working a part-time job, I DJ’d house parties on my college campus, and that’s where it all began!

An internship, my senior year, at my childhood radio station is where I fell in love with radio, and it has taken me places I’d never imagined! I knew that when I first visited Cincinnati I loved the downtown atmosphere (The Banks, OTR, Clifton) and have been exploring every nook and cranny. I have a French bulldog named Nipsey—I take him everywhere! You’ll probably see us around the city chowing down a turtle at Gomez Salsa, an alligator at Dixie Chili, or DJing one of the local hot spots … so don’t forget to say hi! … Oh, and I almost forgot, GO FCC!!!
